Summer School

Summer school has been available for BEAM students in grades K5 through 8 for the past several years.  We typically chose to register students based on their anticipated grade in the fall.

The purpose of our summer school program was to prepare our students for the WKCE.  Summer school hours for students was composed of two blocks of time:  8:00AM - 12:45 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

During the afternoon and depending on the students' grade level, students participated in baseball, soccer, Pearls for Girls, Reconstructing Designers class, Computer time/Recess/Storytime and/or computerized and board games.
